Timur Novikov
Born in 1958 in Leningrad. 1982 Founds “Noviye Khudozhniki” (“New Artists”) group. 1989 Founds the New Academy of Fine Arts called upon to preserve classical traditions in modern art. 2002 Opens the St. Petersburg Museum of Contemporary Art. Dead 24 May 2002 in Saint Petersburg.
